Miniature Mixed Media Craft Closet Giveaway

The eleventh Witches in Fiction 2014… Crafting Blooming Howls (countdown to the big event) giveaway makes me wish for a dollhouse. My beloved Oma Linda, over at Ye Olde Crones Gazette, has created a miniature mixed media piece to delight a lucky winner. Her “Craft Closet for a witch, [comes] complete with spell books, potion bottles, charts, crystals, Krampus, gathering basket and Ouija board… Everything a witch could need to weave a few spells for her craft.”
Oma Linda and her grandchildren have been working on an entire Halloween mansion (stop shaking your head, Oma, it looks like a mansion to me!). It’s brilliant. You have to stop by Ye Olde Crones Gazette and take a look-see. I’m in complete love with all the bookcases around Oma Linda’s creation. One of you will receive a pretty sampler of what I mean, for the Craft Closet is filled with many of the things around Ms. Baggs’ house. What do you mean you don’t know Ms. Baggs? Well, where have you been living!

This is how you can enter the Miniature Mixed Media Craft Closet giveaway,
sponsored by Ye Olde Crones Gazette:

Mandatory Entry:
1. Which of the items in the Craft Closet do you like best, and why?

For extra entries (one entry each):

   3.  Share this post on Twitter.
   4. Follow Ye Olde Crones Gazette.
   5.  Visit the Ye Olde Crones Gazette blog (wipe your feet at the door), and come back to tell me which of Ms. Baggs’ rooms you like best. Why do you like it?

* You can group all your entries in a single comment. Or not. The choice is yours.
* To my Canadian winners, before you can claim your prize, I must test your mathematical yumminess by asking you a very obscure question, like… what’s 13 + .5. Yeah, obscure…

* Open worldwide, excluding any place where prohibited by law.

24 hours until the Witches in Fiction 2014… Crafting Blooming Howls main event.  Can you believe it? I barely can. I mean, I’ve enjoyed posting the countdown giveaways, but Im ready to party like it’s my witchy birthday. Are you?

  1. Cauldron cleaner, no doubt... without it, I'd always have to roll down the hill in a cauldron full of sand...

  12. oh My GOD!! The adorableness is making me Squee!! My favorite item in the craft closet is a close tie between the skull basket (adorable toadstools) and the Krampus. I can't choose because I love skulls and toadstools, and I love Krampus.

The whole mansion is amazing, but I loved the conjure room. All of the elements give it this tucked away, secret witchy-business atmosphere and its amazing! I love the attention to detail in every room, down to the mother goose book in the attic on the shelf. (I don't think people know how much witchery is secreted away between the pages of nursery rhymes. ;) )

  15. Every room shines with inspired knick knacks and imagination in the darling Mrs Baggs home, we were so lucky to be shown around her fabulous house all decked out for Halloween by her wise, wonderful and crafty creator Oma :) I guess I felt at home in the conjuring room, actually I moved right in, in my head anyway, so I will pick that as my fave ;) um from the cabinet do delights which has been generously donated as a gift, well, something about unicorns gets me excited, and I spotted me some unicorn horn in a bottle tucked away on the shelf there, can't believe all the love that must have gone into creating this array of goodies, not to mention the patience!
Oh and following and liked all Oma's blogs and everything Oma touches :D

  16. That is delightful. Not joining in this one - don't have anyplace to put a beauty like that right now. But I wanted to be sure to say something. After all, it's well deserved. :D Lovely work, Oma Linda.

    ehem.

I totally adore every single thing here - the labeled jars are amazing. Distilled Moonbeams! Yay!
I shared on Facebook and Twitter and I'm following Ye Olde Crone's Gazette on Google+. The Halloween doll house project is just fascinating - I would have to say I like the attic best. I *always* like dollhouse attics, with their sort of tumble of odds and ends, and this one is perfect!

Thank you so much for sharing this!

  19. The most magical and wonderful object to me is that ouija board. Does it also have a planchette?
I had so much fun wandering (and snooping) around Ms. Bagg's house.
I love the front porch and the screen door. The entry to all the wickedly good fun inside.

    1. We will have to ask Oma and Ms. Baggs about the planchette. Now I'm curious, too!

  20. This is the most wonderful thing! I love the potion bottles, because I'm a potion-maker, of course!

And I love Oma Linda & follow both her blogs! xo

  21. I love that house! The rooms are so inspiring but I think the room with the candy jars and book of bad ideas has to be my favorite. I am following her blog now, have posted on twitter, google plus and facebook. What a wonderful event Magaly! :) (I don't know if you know it, but you inspired just a little of the story I wrote for my post tomorrow.)

If I won the awesome house I would clean off my desk and put it right next to my computer so I could look at it every day. What a lovely project. Smitten!!

The item I like in the craft closet the best, is that scroll of paper. I am pretty sure it says, "Witches Dance". You know how much I love to dance. I want to know what is on this paper ;o)

  27. I don't know how to pick a favorite room in that most fabulous doll house... can't I just shrink myself and move in? ^__~

If I *did* have to pick, though, it would be the kitchen. My favorite rooms in houses tend to be kitchens... I'm most at home there. ^_^ I'd love nothing more than to pull up a chair at Ms. Baggs' kitchen table and sip a cup of coffee. Ahhhhh...

As for my favorite item in the closet... I love the Cauldron Cleaner... and the wee Ouija board... but I think I'm most in love with the distilled moonbeams at the moment. ^_^
