Third Time’s the Charm… Oh, Who Am I Kidding!

When my hip and shoulder were completely healthy, and I was able to lift my weight in furniture (my chairs were big-boned *grin*), I used to rearrange the house whenever the urge hit me… which was often. The act was extremely soothing. I would blast some music, tie a scarf around my head and dance around the house (singing out of tune) until the couch sat on an unlikely but fun spot.

Things have changed… pushing heavy furniture would be murder on my sexy (and mildly crippled) body. So, these days, when the urge to rearrange smacks me hard in the soul, I grab an audio book, tie a scarf around my head and reorganize my books, my altar or my blogs. I believe in changing the things I can change, and sitting around plotting how to poke the things that seem out of my reach.

Are you wondering about the “Third Time’s the Charm… Oh, Who Am I Kidding!” bit? I will tell you. I was having a great time with all the rearranging and I, um… merged my blogs… again.

So, yes, my Wicked Luvs, you will get 13 blog updates in about 3 seconds. Don’t panic. It’s not the blog apocalypse. I promise. And if the simultaneous updates piss you off, just know that my Blogger account was hacked by a sexy, intelligent, witchy writer woman with great hair, and who probably had way too much coffee today.
I must figure out how to give this determined T-Rex an extra finger. Just imagine how pissed off she’ll be when she realizes that she can’t operate those extensions using two digits only.

  1. LOL you sound like me with the rearranging, it drives the hubby(I change our room often) and I'm sure my readers up the wall.

    1. My Piano Man thinks it's entertaining. There are times when he will change things around (without telling me) just so he can laugh when I walk right to it to fix it. I laugh, too; I'm so predictable.

    1. Merging is good. I think people like having one spot to find everything they need. Again, that might be wishful thinking in my part ;-D

  3. Ha, I gave a colleague an extra finger today. ^^ (He was less happy than the T-Rex, especially when I threw him out of the office.)

  6. I never get the urge to re-organize anything. I just wish I had time to organize it in the first place, LOL!

  8. Yay for streamlining! I adore reading your words, you faboo witch you, but I'm a bit (read very) OCD about the number of blog subscriptions listed in my RSS reader (I know it doesn't make sense, but too many blogs listed makes me twitchy). Now I can have more of the Magaly without the twitch. You rock!

    1. I totally understand the "twitchy" bit. It is usually what brings the urge to rearrange lol

  11. I think you're just trying to trick the lot of us. Well, the joke is on you. This just means I have one less click to get to things and I therefore support the change. I support anything, as a rule, that means less work for me.

    1. The "less work" aspect of the equation is attractive for moi as well. I will be able to love on Pagan Culture all the time ;-D

  12. You make me smile. Because I didn't think anyone liked rearranging things more than I did. LOL. At least one of us is actually blogging, though. I'm having a really tough time this winter. I think I bit off a right bit more than I could chew for the shadow work. My nightmares have been insane, but, I'll get through it. I've discovered an answer to something during all this and when I can actually form coherent posts, I'll talk about it. :)

    1. You know, you are the fifth person who has said something about shadow work gone spookier than usual. I wonder... Hm, we should probably talk on the phone and dig deeper into this.

    2. It's weird because even my meditations are tough right now. They're not smooth, it's hard to stay focused and get into a zone, I've had more headaches than usual. I even had this really morbid, read-about-people's-deaths streak not too long ago. I'm not depressed or anything, I guess I just decided to head into some territory that affected more than in the past. You have my number still, yes?

  13. I rarely have the urge to rearrange furniture. When I do, I feel like the hulk.

I merged my blog and site years ago. It made things so much easier.

  14. LOL! You are so cute! You know, I am exactly like you! I have to rearrange things, and clean and of course, dance while I do it. My latest thing has been painting my furniture in my bedroom! My mom said I can paint anything in my bedroom, but I can't touch anything else in the house! LOL!
