Life Happens Again and Again and Again…

Ripe of body and soul,
she begins to push
and push;
she pushes fiercely and lovingly…
until hot flesh births Child and Wings.

She rests during winter’s dark
blooms in spring,
frolics all summer…
and for the fall,
she births and rebirths.

Naturally,
life happens
again and again and again…

    1. I've never been super-excited about the idea of "resurrection" (unless we are talking about zombie movies). Rebirth, starting from scratch and becoming something new (with traces of the old) makes more sense to me ;-)

    1. Even when we don't mean to do it, our writings always hide messages that different people see from different angles, methinks ;-)

    1. Yes, ma'am! It is wondrous to be part of a circle that goes and goes some more and again. It makes me think that if we make a mistake once, we might get a chance to do it better the next time around ;-)

    1. One of the things I love most about art is how it affects different people in different ways, and how people approach them for different reasons... very fluid.

  21. As I read I was thinking Dragons and hoping to see some rebirth there. But, of course, it is us and flora and fauna--many species with wings. I use mine most while writing. Thank you, Magaly, for commenting on my recent incident post--your words are wonderful.

    1. Dragons are part of the fauna of our imagination, so you were right on all counts. ;-D

I'm glad you shared your thoughts with us. I think what makes us human is the fact that we can share our all, and notice how similar we are... and how we can help each other grown into better us.

  23. The beauty of birth is that it is a protected occurrence that relates to what Providence want us to savor. No other happening can match it. You did well to highlight it Magaly!
