A Lollipop Girl, a Scary Gardener, a Chick Magnet and… a Hammer

I know October 31st has been gone for a bit. But let’s face it; I’m terrible at posting things as soon as they happen. If I always pause my living in order to write about my life, then I’m not living all that yummy of a life. So… here is a glimpse into our All Hallow’s Eve... 13 days after it happened

This is actually the end of trick-or-treating picture. How is it that my Piano Man, my Boy and I are half-dead, but the Little Princess is all perky and going through her candy loot?
I will garden your yard, all night, encouraged by your screams of garden-loving delight. Muahahaha!
The Lollipop girl was quite impressed by the Star Wars jack-o’-lantern. Yoda does look fierce.
Of course you can touch my hammer, handsome chick magnet you. By the way, I dressed up as the creepy cousin from out of town… or the person who didn’t plan a costume *cough, cough, cough*
We waited too long to eat our pumpkin stew, so vermin got to it. It was rather crunchy ;-D
Dessert was yummy, especially the pomegranate seeds and the eyeballs. I ate half the jaw.
My favorite decorations… recycling and creativity wins me over every time. Such nice jugs, too.

    1. It was a gorgeous skull, and tasty, too. And we don't say the "M" word around here, we don't want the Thunder God to start asking questions ;-D

You live life in the moment... That's beautiful.
I think it's sad when people photograph every egg they fry and water droplet that falls.
    You're awesome:)
... Now I want pomegranate seeds!

    1. It is nice to keep records of stuff for later, you know? Pagan Culture has become a bit of a journal for me. But even journals end up missing some of the best bits ;-)

    1. It must be all the candy that keeps her going and going and going... LOL

I might have giggled a bit when I typed, "jugs" :-D

  7. you all look fabulously Hallowoonie. I'll take pictures of all your bright shiny faces no matter where or when.
I am reading a fabulously delicious book right now about how Christmas should be the spookiest time of the year according to lore. It is a wonder compilation of facts and fiction of how the time between Halloween and Epiphany has been celebrated through the ages....I'll share more tomorrow when I am finished with the book. Oma

I love that you and the Piano Man get all dressed with the little Princess each year. It is too precious, and you all look fantastic, you hammer wielder, you. ;-)

    1. It is nice to trick-or-treat like a family. Also, the Little Princess enjoys pretending that she is terrified to death of anything we come up with ;-D

      Yay, hammers!

  16. It looks like you all had a wonderful time! Halloween always exhausts me too - and I'm just giving out the candy. (And carving pumpkins, and roasting seeds, and setting out decorations...) I love the cleverness of people when they make their own decorations too.

    1. Our carving came rather late, as you noticed, but it was so much fun. We didn't decorate much this year, but it was nice to see all the creativity lurking around the neighborhood ;-)
