    1. One of the things I love most about autumn (right there with All Hallow's Eve) is wearing boots. Thigh-highs, knee-highs, calf-highs, ankle-high, booties... I LOVE them all ;-D

    2. Same here! Last year I bought such on a flat sole, they are also so comfy to walk in! mmm... can't wait when the season comes! I am from a cold country after all !hehe

    3. I also love that they are soft inside and I can wear them with a dress without stockings or socks ;-D

  5. Pretty, but I could never walk in them... heels (and why, I wonder, did I type "hells" first?) make my toes/scars hurt...

    1. You know what? These are the only high-heel shoes I can wear without killing my back. They are not specially made or anything. They do have an anti-slip sole material and the laces help to keep them from moving, and shocking my toes. I can even dance while wearing them!

  6. You need some nice horizontally striped stockings with those!

    1. I do, don't I? Black and red striped stockings and a nice red hat. And that's it ;-D

    1. I wear them during the autumn, mostly. But right now, I'm away from NY and the weather is mild, so I'm sooo wearing them ;-D

  12. Well, they are just perfectly witchy, but I think I may have to switch out the laces for some with a touch a sparkle!

Thought of you this weekend - I was in Glastonbury - a most witchy place :)

    1. Sparkles are like sprinkles, they have the power to make something awesome even better. So I agree.

I looked at some pictures of Glastonbury, and witchy indeed!

  13. Great shoes!
I conquered the world (at least several countries) in a pair of purple velvet Doc Marten's when I was 19. I kept them for 15 after they were completely worn out and full or burn holes (another story...), and only threw them out last year.
Heals though, I have never been able to really get used to. Cudos to you for being able to dance in them!

    1. You know what? I'll get myself a pair of blood-red Doc Martens. Yep, that's it. Then I'll conquer some countries, too ;-D

Usually, I can't wear heels; I rarely do. But for some reasons, this pair loves me. I only wear them a couple of times a year.

  14. Very nice shoes. I unfortunately have the habit of purchasing lovely shoes that I then never get around to wearing because heels aren't my friend.

    1. This is my only pair of heels. My bad hip and back allow for no others. But I do stare at the pretties sometimes. Up to know, I've been able to control the urge to overbuy.
