Tea with a Thorn

  1. Bran can cook me any darn thing he wants! *Fanning self* I can't wait to see the next entree. Though I don't have any roses to try cooking with here, I do have hibiscus. This makes me want to try making something with hibiscus...Merry Unbirthday and Happy Mad Tea Party. May your Witchy Muchness never wane! :-)

You know, writing this story always makes me hungry. I find myself in the kitchen after every long scene LOL

    1. If the hat in the picture wasn't almost $300, I would love it from a closer point of view. But wow...

And, I am falling in love with the Thorns, Van Dykes and even with the not so stable characters who will be introduced soon ;-D

  5. Hee hee hee! Bran strikes me as one of those very dangerous men who could get the right woman into a lot of very fun trouble. Rather like my man, now that I think on it.

Enjoying it thoroughly. I do have a bit of curiosity, though... how do you name your characters?

    1. A man who pays attention (and uses the information) is a lovable and dangerous thing...

I don't have a particular way for choosing the names of my characters. For instance, in Of Death and Blooms many of the names come from plants; in AlmaMia Cienfuegos the names came to me as I put their profiles together; the Thorn family has been lingering around my head for a while, but I didn't know who they were--not all of them. I knew a lot about Mattalina's mom, Angeles Thorn, but Bran was born about a week and a half ago. I imagined him sitting on the counter as Brana cooked a meal, and then went from there...

Not all that clear, huh? But that's how it goes lol
