Earth… Bones… and My Wicked Darling Winners

When I first chose “…to the Bone” as the theme for this year’s blogoversary party, I  believed that my main motivation was an intense desire to go deeper into my reasons for creating fictional worlds and for writing Pagan Culture. Then, as the party progressed and I found myself learning so much from the way you approached the bone topic, I realized that my desire had been realized beyond expectations.

I discovered such wonders through your posts: about life, about fear, about courage, about love, about death, about myself… and because of all of it, I wrote Witches in Fiction 2013… to the Bone on a piece of paper and buried it under an oak tree, while chanting Mamabuela’s words, “Bones have strong memories. And earth never forgets.” I want to remember the fun and the lessons of this year ;-)

Now, meet the lucky winners of Witches in Fiction 2013… to the Bone:

    1. I had quite the blast, too. And the universe knows that after the things that have taken place in my life this year, I needed the distraction and the reminder of what the world could be like if I just things happen.

      Cheers, right back!

And I suspected you would have Mina's address, so disregard the fact that I forwarded it anyway ;-)

  14. Thank you, Magaly for this wonderful blog party!

And, thank you to all the wildly talented artists who offered gifts to give away. I have all your shops bookmarked and will be visiting them as gifting times roll around through the year. Shopping in my jym-jams! What could be better? *grin*

Oh, it is wicked to do, but... I got the Happy Bones! *Squee* I really am in love with the crow and skulls, and am beyond thrilled. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I know that I have some more posts to get to for reading -- slow but steady *nods* -- and I have posts earmarked for sharing with other witchy friends who missed out on the blog party. Gotta share the Love! I look forward to reading even more through the year to come, too.

Congratulations, everyone. This was a fantastic party!

    1. Thank you for the amazing words and wisdom you shared. Your voice too me (and many others) to wondrous places. That is the reason I love this kind of party. We meet new people, get closer to some who we kind of knew already, and we make friends.

Enjoy your "Happy Bones"! Stacy's art comes sprinkled with love and smiles ;-)

  15. Sending HUGE congratulations to everyone and YEEHAW!!! I am too thrilled to have won Miss Oma Linda's amazing altered creation. I had such a wonderful time my Magaly, and have been so inspired by such amazingly talented bloggers.

Oh girl, I love that you buried the paper while chanting that beauty of wisdom! Such a powerful act. All my love to you sweetie!

    1. I thought you would love it. When Randomizer picked your named, I gave it a suspicious look, and told it, "Do you know my Mina?" It didn't answer, but I have a feeling it does lol

About the paper and the chant... I was feeling quite horrible about Boston. I wanted to remind myself that there are wonderful things that people do for each other 'just because.' And while we have individuals like those in our lives, the monsters who forget that we are all part of a great whole, won't matter as much.

    1. It was fun, wasn't it? And during these last few weeks I needed this. If I had to focus on the event that took place in my life lately... all my energy going towards them, I might have probably lost my marvels. And we don't want that, do we?

And guess what? I was told that I have something heading my way. I can't wait to see the number of stamps lol
