Art, Passion and Heart-Told Tales

The Love-Filled Entries
Crabapples - Magaly
MagicLoveCrow - Stacy

What comes to mind when you think about the day you met the hotter half of your dragon heart? In my case, the memory involves a car crash, a ferry ride, me walking up to my Piano Man, hugging him hard, sniffing his neck and thinking, My goodness this man smells good.

Yes, my Wicked Luvs, the moment was delicious. In fact, our entire first date was pretty scrumptious… and hot. With our anniversary approaching, I thought it would be nice to share the whole story. And because sharing is a lot more fun when is done with friends, I’m inviting you to use your Art and Passion to share the Tale of how you met the other half of your heart.

So… wanna join Art, Passion and Heart-Told Tales?
If the answer is yes, (1) grab this cute little banner.
 (2) Display it on your sidebar (linked to this post).
(3) Leave a comment telling me a bit about what you plan to do.
(4) Write, paint, sculpt, craft… the tale of your first date.
(5) On June 30th, use the inLinkz tool, I’ll provide, and add a link to your tale.
♥ And, of course, it is always lovely to spread the word

Are you a storyteller? Write a loving creative piece.
Oh, you are a painter? Show us the colors of your love.
Sculpting is your thing? Shape your heart’s tale.
The limits are only set by our imaginations, my Wicked Darlings.

If you haven’t met the other half of your dragon heart (yet)
I invite you to use your art and passion to illustrate any yummy lovestory
*yes, I’m stuck on delicious, today*

Need an example? Well, if I was yet to meet my love, I would probably write a tale set in the world of Ever After: A Cinderella Story. Before that movie, I cared for no versions of “Cinderella.” But after Danielle holds the tip of that sword under Pierre le Pieu’s chin, and tells him, “My father was an excellent swordsman, monsieur. He taught me well. Now hand me that key or I swear on his grave I will slit you from navel to nose,” I fell in love. Although the following scene makes my heart jump three or more beats, the violence is not what makes me love the movie:
What enchants me is what happens after: Danielle walks out of the castle on her own two feet. She doesn’t wait for some prince to rescue her. After saving herself from the nasty-toothed creep who wanted to get in her pants, Danielle accepts the love of her prince because she wants to. What a great tale…

You see, my Luvs, everybody can participate in the fun; one only needs Art, Passion, desire to celebrate Love, and a cyber-home where to share the tale.

By the way, “Wink,” the sexy little crow in the banner, is the delicious work of Stacy from Magic Love Crow. I fell in love with her flirty ways as soon as I saw her.

  1. I've been married for 20 years, and the passion is, very honestly, completely dead, but the way we started was not conventional by any stretch of the imagination. It can either be a tale of true love, or a warning lol.

    This is all words :).

  5. I'll grab the button later, for now I'm just letting you know I'm definitely in, looking forward to learning about your story (and those of others) and will be writing mine. Or trying to... Just remember I write better for children, and my story can't be a children's story!

  7. My tale is boring. I honestly don't have a tale of our "first meeting". Because Dh was a friend of the family and I grew up with him visiting our house once in awhile. He ignored me. I tagged along like a little puppy dog. Yes, even then I was in love.

    1. Boring? I'm laughing (and extremely curious) imagining young you smiling like a fool in love and your hubby ignoring you. I can even see the puppy eyes!

I love Ever After, too. I don't even know how many times I've watched it. I love the reality of it all. And the Gypsies, and the library, and spunky Danielle... okay, I love it all lol.

  14. CONGRATS!

    On your anniversary.

Don't know that I want to be the lone negative nancy regarding this as it actually makes me glad I know someone experiencing some relationship bliss and I don't want to shit all over a good vibe with my classically debbie downer thoughts on it.

But I am happy for you and I know if anyone deserves to have a rocking, or banging, anniversary it's you so make it memorable!

    1. Oh, I promise to make it memorable, and repeat it over and over and over... until thought becomes physical memory ;-)

Hm, I would love to challenge you to write a dark story with a happy theme... Yes, I'm wicked like that!

  17. Ohh! This sounds fun! I think I want to join in but some parts of my story I would have to omit, since I don't want some stuff on the internet floating around (we were going through some rough stuff individually). But with Litha coming up (my creativity always flares up) and my attempt to avoid murder charges, I think I will have to say Yes. Count me in Magaly =)

I'll grab the button a little later...

    1. I think we all hold some bits of our stories back. There are some things that are meant to be shared only between two (or three depending on the kind of relationship ;-D)

      Yay party!

  18. Our first meeting will cross the 10 year threshold this December. It's not terribly exciting, but it is very naughty...not sure I want to share that. lol Plus I'm so busy right now, but I can't wait to see everyone else's entries. :)

  19. You know, you are a rabble rouser. Recalling my meeting with my Sweet Man has stirred the cauldron and now you've done it. I can't wait until that old cutie pie comes home from work.
In truth, I love the story of our "knowing" each other since we were kids. But I always get a little crazy when I remember how we really "met for the first time". Yaowza.
Thanks kiddo for letting me share my story. Oma Linda

    1. I am so sorry your love is in the hospital. I will light a candle and send energy your way. I hope writing about the beginning of your story will bring some strength; maybe you should read it to him. I find that when my Piano Man speaks of how we met, my soul lifts a little.

      I'm following again!
