Frogs, Books and Skulls – Miniature Witchy Book

I like me. I’m smitten with all of me; enchanted with the wicked twinkle in my eyes, the sweetness of my touch, the darkest bits of my witchy mind—I love me a lot. I am intelligent and fun. My hair is wonderful, and my smile can brighten the gloomiest of moods. I am fantastic, I…

Wait! Don’t head for the hills, my Wicked Luvs. I had to do this in order to enter Amy’s All Together Now party. She made it “mandatory – you must say great things about yourself,” she ordered. I had to follow her rules. You know my policy on rules. I always… um, twist them *grins wickedly*

But I liked the idea of tooting my own horn in the company of other fantabulous people, so I’m actually sticking to Amy’s rules. Why not, right? I believe I must love myself first—and often—before I can help anyone else reach their happy ending. Do you give yourself compliments? Have you done it lately? If not, just find a mirror, face that gorgeous reflection, and tell yourself how freaking awesome you are, and answer, “Yes, yes, yes!” to my question.

Now, to continue my strange rule-following streak, I’m giving away something I made. Yep, leave a comment telling me just how incredible you are, and you can win one of these Miniature Witchy Books:
Cover material from left to right: coffee filter, grapefruit peel, orange peel.
The book’s content will be a surprise. I will share that the words will be about AlmaMia Cienfuegos and they will include something to do with myths, blessings, herbs, skulls, books or frogs. Also, and I really love this part, I want to tell you that the mini books are made from yummy recycled materials: orange peel, rice paper, coffee filter, grapefruit peel…

To participate, leave a comment tooting your own horn. Oh, you can talk about my greatness, too, of course. I would hate to limit my gods-given right to be adored. And just so you know, you are wicked marvelous!

Since you are already here… why not join the AlmaMia Cienfuegos Blog travels for a chance to win ebook copies of my short story and, if you are wicked lucky, you can also win AlmaMia’s bracelet.

    1. Well, I have a few things which others (me) are saying about you. You can take those words, repeat them in front of the mirror, and come back here to say, "Magaly, I touch people's hearts. My words are strong--the sweet ones and the ones that are raw and hurtful, sometimes people need to hear harsh words. I love my children and my husband and will do anything for them. I'm outraged by the state of our society and I'm not afraid to tell people why--some of my readers spend days thinking about the things I write. I am a lover of Goddess and God. I've found balanced in my heart when it comes to Jesus and witchy ways. I'm an awesome crafter. I mean, have you seen my prayer beads? Yeah, simply amazing!" Take all that and added to the fact that you have friends to lean on, and my dearest Penny, you, too, are fantabulous. To me your are, and that means the world to someone as full of herself as me. I have enough Aries in me for both of us ;-)

      You are loved.

    2. I hope you don't mind being loved by someone who doesn't pay attention to her grammar. I guess when the emotions are true and strong, the rest is mildly forgotten.

Hug yourself for me. Several times...

  3. I always suspected you were devouring books, but that is taking it a bit far... ^^

Saying good things about myself? Wouldn't know where to start! Although lately I have loved my patience with the stupid clients/coworkers/boss most, and my scary smile - the one that indicates that painful things may happen. Yes, it most often appears at work and makes stupidity stop, at least for a moment. Oh, and of course I look fabulous all the time. ^^

    1. I love your attitude and your art, too; your passion is contagious. And what's not to love about Jesus? The man refused to fit in anyone's box. He led from the front. Taught that just because everyone else is doing something, doesn't mean the thing is right. And better yet, he had a way with word ;-)

  6. Right off the bat you're generous and sparkle with magick! I think to be able to find qualities we love in ourselves we sometimes need a mirror to show us what we have and you do that so beautifully. Tooting my own horn is difficult as it is for most of us but here goes. I'm courageous, even though I resist so many challenges in life, I do take them on and after moaning and groaning about it, I do the job. I also am very compassionate and loyal to my friends.

thanks for the wonderful giveaway and good luck to all!

  9. Those books are absolutely delicious looking, Magaly!!! Are they low-cal? :D

I must start with you, Magaly. You are caring, sweet, beautiful and talented. You are someone very special to us all.

Now about me. I am happy to be the eclectic thinker and person that I am. I don't fit into anyones mold of what I should do, be or look like and this makes me happy. I love my long gray hair...I've earned everyone :) I love painting my tiny paintings and the fact that I taught myself, I feel that I paint pretty good. I love that I am a witch. But I also mix my other beliefs in with being a witch. "Nuff" said :D

It is easy to be sweet with you, Jan. And you are extremely special to me, too. I believe eclectic thinkers attract each other, for so few truly understand our rainbow souls and/or reasons behind our ways.

Every time I think about the fact that you taught yourself how to paint, I get all warm inside--your work is magic.

  10. Magaly I absolutely love everything about you! Your writing, your wit, your outlook... just everything!

About me? That's a little harder. But I do love the fact that I refuse to fit into anyone else's idea of what I should be. I always want to be me, nothing less - nothing more. That is what I'm proud of most!

Can't wait to see you published! Love the bracelet and those books are amazing!

One how great it would be if I had the same great hair as you and two that I must be the only person alive who has a sex dream and in the dream thinks to myself during the sex part "man, I am such a good kissed."

You know, it's funny I am reading this on your blog today, after, the day I have had! I just got new license plates. And, I don't know why, but they brought confidence to me! My plates say, "Crow Gal" ;o) Well, you know how I told you, many people don't know about my art. I went to the dealership, to get them on and the girl that works there, said Stacy, why, Crow Gal? I explained my story and told her about my art. Well, one thing led to another and I have a special order to do an 8 x 10 painting for her brother, who is getting married! Yeh ;o) Grow Gal is out of the closet! LOL! And, I have to add two more things, I do have a great smile and great boobs ;o) Hugs my friend ;o) I see Shelle has a great ass ;o)

  24. Well, first off I have to say that, through the magic of the internet, I have met the most amazing, talented, inspirational, creative, original, exceptional people ... all the while sitting here in my little self-created domain! And yes, Magaly, your hair is outstanding! Along with the rest of you .....

My Dad always said "They broke the mold when I was created!" ... Yep! I am one unique, creative and talented young woman! Hey, my Mom is 90 .. so 64 is young in comparison! I am so happy and grateful that I was given the gift of creating art and I constantly try to strive that this gift was warranted.

I look for beauty in everything and usually find it, sometimes in the most unexpected places. My yard is filled with fairies and mischievous gnomes; my home is filled with ghosts, who are steadfastly on guard against any evil spirits who may try enter. Can life get much better than that, can it???

    Happy Day Magaly!
