  2. Between the graphic description of bad smells and the shot off junk I should have known only you could outdo me in the leaving 'em speechless department.

    Well done my dear.

    Speechless I am.

  6. I could do with longer days myself. :)

I don't think many people managed to stay off their brooms over the holidays.

I'm lucky; I'm one of those people who can - if I want - tune out what's going on in the world. I have the option of paying attention to what's going on around me or acting like none of it is happening. I can also write with destractions, even if I don't tune them out. I once wrote a short story while a teacher was reading another story to us. He tried to catch me out by quizzing me on the story he'd been reading afterwards, and was amazed when I had every answer right despite my own story being on a completely different topic. The only things that stop me concentrating are short time limits (which is why my coursework average was so much better than my final grade for my English exam; I did so poorly at the exam itself that I only just got a decent pass grade, but I'd had an A average in my coursework) and being hungry. Seriously... I can't concentrate on anything but the feeling of hunger if I try and sit down to write when I'm hungry.

Anyway, good luck with getting - and staying - back off your broom! :)

  22. Nope, meant midget. I've been obssessing with the dictionary lately, and midget was one of the thirteen words I was analyzing that day.

    Yep, midget:

adjective3.very small or of a class below the usual size.4.being a miniature replica or model.
