My Latest Stripping Move

You are probably wondering about my latest sidebar stripping move. I’ll explain, in case I was so swift that you didn’t notice the changes *grin*: I switched my big sidebar for two smaller ones, downsized pictures, added my personal links to the sidebar… and I retired the perfect Skully Girl Baby Crow banner that Stacy and Shelle designed for my blog. I have good reasons for doing so…

The Skully Girl Baby Crow banner was supposed to go up on October 13th and share its beauty until All Hallow’s Eve… but I got so excited that I couldn’t hide it, and added the banner as soon as I got it from Stacy and Shelle. I’m just too weak when it comes to cute skulls; add a frog, a cat, a baby crow and a bunch of daisies, and I’m hopelessly in love *sigh*

My initial plan was to have a banner for every turn of The Wheel of the Year, but I’ve changed my mind: Skully Girl and Baby Crow will be my All Hallow’s Eve guests, and I want to get a second banner for Beltane; I haven’t figured out what yet. The rest of the year, Pagan Culture, will remain bannerless… until I changed my mind, that is. Teeheeheehee!

What have you done for your blog lately, my Wicked Darlings?

  5. I rarely change the look of my blog. Rarely, as in only twice. Sometimes I'll add something to my sidebar. It just takes too much time and I'd rather spend that time updating my web site. Besides, I like a clean simple look to my blog.

  9. LJ - Mrs. I just changed my entire blog platform! That sounds like a lot to me.

    Pixie - Mm, fruit trees.

SueAnn - With all those lovely pics of your art and amazing sunsets, you don't have to add a thing.

Tamara - I saw that cute picture, sexy mama ;-)

Ellen - Both your blog and your website are a treat to look at.

Zombie Goddess - You are just like "ME" ha!

Magic Love Crow - I totally love the pick and black theme. I'm thinking about a permanent little thing on the very corner of the banner, but my mind still creating.

Toriz - Girl, I spent an hour fighting with my labels and then gave up; you are my hero!

  10. I made my own header and button and got that cool background from an artist I found on the web. It's not perfect, but I feel like it fits my personality more.

Someday when I have the cash to spend, I'll get Tara to do a makeover again.

  11. Well first, Photobucket needs to fix whatever glitch they are having and get my background back up. My poor sprinkly blog looks naked without it.

I am going to do a little remodeling for the approaching season too. It is on my scroll of to-do's. ;-)

  13. I'm just one of those people who when I start something I'm determined to see it through to the end. Of course, I would decide to go through and label my posts when I have close to 2000 of them, wouldn't I? Couldn't have done it when the label feature first came out. Nope... Had to make things hard for myself. LOL!
