Once upon a Witchy time… Dear Me, I’ve Realized…

Have you ever written a letter to yourself? This is my first, so I’m thinking about mailing it to myself too. I think it would give it a nice touch. I’ll probably stick the sealed envelope to a page on my Pagan Art Journal.

The letter was fun to write. The drawing on my canvas *grin* and the coloring was messy, but an enjoyable experience. The realization was surprising. I thought I was going to have a super long list I wanted to accomplish by 2016, but found myself not wanting to plan a thing. I know what I want, and I’m doing the things I feel need to be done in order to get there, but I don’t want to plot every step of the journey.

This might sound a bit silly, but I’ve actually wondered if I’ll be planning another Pagan Culture Blogoversary Party, five years from now. I sure hope so... and I wish the theme I choose, to celebrate the 7 year anniversary, is as important to me as Witches in Fiction.

Where do you think you’ll be, when it comes to blogging, five years from now?
Week 5 – Letter to Self
Week 8 – Realization

  3. SueAnn - I LOVE the idea of videos. It would amazing to see how you make all your beauties; and oh! the thought of you showing how to make your dolls!!!

Aradia - I love my pink, my black and my skulls. People used to say that I would grow out of it (that was about 25 years ago) I still haven't; I wonder if is a forever taste ;-)

  4. Nice idea Mag...i think i'll write a letter to myself also and see what comes out. It would be fun to do a new letter every year and keep them together in a journal.
Where do i think i'll be with my blogging....hmmmmm...hopefully I'll still be healthy and amongst the living and be able to continue to blog every morning. It's such a great and fun outlet! And I look forward to it every morning with my cup of coffee to my right :)

  7. I'm totally not into pink, but I've always wanted to create an artsy BoS. I might have to commandeer this idea and adapt it for that.......

....except I'll see your black and skulls....and raise you some YELLOW.;)

    Magaly, inspiring as always!

  16. Oh Magaly, this is such a fabulous idea! It is always a journey to come upon a journal entry I wrote years prior, to see how I've changed...or not. To see if I still have the same dreams or if I've accomplished any. I really don't know where I want to be in my blogging 5 years from now but you have inspired me to stop and think about it. Always a pleasure to visit your blog, my sweetest of wicked witches.

  17. Magic Love Crow - I want to read about your special someone too! And I made a little note to write a post about my love for pink; it's quite funny.

Sunshineshelle - I have a feeling that as long as there is at least one lovely Wicked Darling reading, I'll be writing. You rock!

Mina - I stopped keeping journals after my second year in the military... and then when something kind of huge happened, I burned a tiny notebook of thoughts... I love the opportunity 52 Weeks of Pagan Journaling is giving me. Can't wait to read about your five year blog plan (after you think about it ;-)
