Meet this Witch: Ryan, from Rituals

Ryan is Wiccan; a faithful member of his coven, and one who cares deeply for those in his life. For example, with an old friend, Maddie, he becomes her sounding board, her rock and her voice of reason. In trying to help, he puts his own feelings aside to guide her through a Cutting of the Cords ritual to help her break the emotional ties binding her to her abusive ex-husband.

He knows his rituals well; knowing that with them doors can be opened just as sure as cords can be cut if only one believes it so. While his ways might seem unconventional to some, his dedication knows no bounds.

  1. I think that sex can be spiritual and that spirituality can be sexy. And I surely would try sex magic, if only the BF agreed... he's pretty, uhm, "conservative". Well... *sigh*

  2. I have not practiced sexual magic in the past but never say never. (wink) And oh yes, I am grinning from ear to ear over that delicious book cover. Perhaps I could conjure teeth of a dragon and chew through those ropes.

  5. I haven't really thought about this before...

So I guess my thoughts on the relationship between sex and spirituality are pretty hazy and confused. Because I'm clueless. (I'm a virgin who's on a medication whose side effect is suppressed sex drive. Whoopee.) All I can say is that I danced around a giant phallic symbol last year and loved it. Yep, I danced the Maypole at Beltane. At a Catholic University. :)

So I guess that sex and spirituality can go well together.

  9. No, I'm not planning to do anything sexy for Beltane this year. But last year I danced around a giant phallic symbol a.k.a. a Maypole.
