Witches in Fiction Update #6
Fine! Stop glaring already; so maybe some
or five of these questions were asked only once, but doesn’t Frequently Asked Questions sound way better than ‘here are five questions from different people’? Yep, I thought so. So these is what Wicked Darlings have been asking:
Am I posting on my own blog or guest posting at Pagan Culture?
You will post your contributions on your own blogs. However, I’ll write a daily digest (with each giveaway winner post) directing other Wicked Darlings your way. I’ll visit contributing blogs every day, but you would help me a great deal if you sent me a message with the link to your posts. Or you can just add it at the end of your comments on my latest party post.
Is Witches in Fiction about writing and reading ONLY? Witches in Fiction celebrates everything witchy, fictional and creative. Your post doesn’t have to be book related. It can be about a painting or the painting, about myth, fictional misconceptions, witchy costumes in fiction, famous witches in fiction, real witches in fiction, fictional witches who pissed you off, portrayal of fictional characters that interest or annoy you… your imagination is the limit, my witchy ones.
Can I participate if my post is not about Pagan Witches? You certainly can; most witches I’ve encountered in fiction aren’t Pagan. Besides, this party is about fiction, my Wicked Darlings, not about analyzing spiritual paths or beliefs. Although fiction has a way with words...
The witch I want to write about “is mean as hell”, is that okay? Yes! I’m looking forward to meeting that witch!
How many posts do I need to write? You can post 1 time 13 times… your choice. Post a number that makes you happy and I promise to giggle with you.
Do I need to be a Witch or Pagan to participate in Witches in Fiction? Nope; again, this is not a spiritual workshop. Pagan Culture is not a coven. This party is about fictional witchy things. Let us discuss the good, the bad, the ugly, the evil, the ridiculous, the impossible, the magical, the beautiful, the mildly kinky *grin*, the deliciously witchy...
More witchy Info
This is how the party is going to work (I expect): I’ll write 3 daily posts.
- The 1st about Witches in Fiction
- The 2nd will be a giveaway
- The 3rd will be titled Witches in Fiction Winner and Digest, and it will announce the winner of the latest giveaway, plus links to any Party Guests posting on that specific day.
Note: I’ve seen Witches in Fiction Party Buttons everywhere—thanks for spreading the word my luvs! And don’t forget, a party without you is no fun at all, so leave the link to your blog on this post, as soon as you realized that you have always wanted to party at Pagan Culture *wicked party grin*.
By the way, feel free to
bitch, moan, complaint, and comment on my SDCPD (Self-Diagnosed Compulsive Planner Disorder). I suspect it’s a chronic condition and I might need serious counseling or a bit of playful witchslaping. Are you a planner, a list maker, the creepy organizer everyone talks about…?
